En esta ocasi\u00f3n contamos con la participaci\u00f3n de <strong data-start=\"569\" data-end=\"588\">Fran Castellano<\/strong>, quien nos ofreci\u00f3 una charla centrada en un tema tan necesario como poco visibilizado: <strong data-start=\"677\" data-end=\"765\">las diferencias de sexo en el TDAH, especialmente su impacto en ni\u00f1as y adolescentes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"768\" data-end=\"1171\">Durante la sesi\u00f3n, Castellano comparti\u00f3 los principales resultados de una amplia revisi\u00f3n cient\u00edfica que pone de manifiesto c\u00f3mo el estudio del TDAH ha estado hist\u00f3ricamente dirigido a la poblaci\u00f3n masculina. Esto ha provocado que muchas ni\u00f1as reciban diagn\u00f3sticos tard\u00edos o incluso err\u00f3neos, ya que tienden a presentar un subtipo m\u00e1s inatento y menos disruptivo, lo que dificulta su detecci\u00f3n temprana.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1173\" data-end=\"1226\">Adem\u00e1s, la ponente profundiz\u00f3 en aspectos clave como:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1228\" data-end=\"1818\">\n<li data-start=\"1228\" data-end=\"1358\">\n<p data-start=\"1230\" data-end=\"1358\">Las <strong data-start=\"1234\" data-end=\"1265\">diferencias neurobiol\u00f3gicas<\/strong> entre chicos y chicas y c\u00f3mo la pubertad afecta de manera distinta al desarrollo cerebral.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1359\" data-end=\"1551\">\n<p data-start=\"1361\" data-end=\"1551\">La <strong data-start=\"1364\" data-end=\"1437\">menor probabilidad de las chicas de recibir tratamiento farmacol\u00f3gico<\/strong>, pese a que presentan un mayor deterioro funcional y mayor riesgo de conductas autolesivas si no reciben apoyo.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1552\" data-end=\"1698\">\n<p data-start=\"1554\" data-end=\"1698\">El incremento del riesgo en chicas adolescentes con TDAH de desarrollar <strong data-start=\"1626\" data-end=\"1651\">consumo de sustancias<\/strong> o dificultades emocionales no visibilizadas.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1699\" data-end=\"1818\">\n<p data-start=\"1701\" data-end=\"1818\">La necesidad de revisar herramientas diagn\u00f3sticas para incorporar una perspectiva sensible a las diferencias de sexo.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1820\" data-end=\"2056\">Una reflexi\u00f3n que qued\u00f3 muy presente es que <strong data-start=\"1864\" data-end=\"1932\">la equidad en salud mental comienza reconociendo las diferencias<\/strong>, y que atender las particularidades del TDAH en ni\u00f1as es clave para garantizar diagn\u00f3sticos y apoyos m\u00e1s justos y eficaces.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2058\" data-end=\"2196\">Queremos agradecer de coraz\u00f3n la asistencia de todas las familias.
